"I been sitting here for the last hour listening to the "The Circus" CD in its entirety. Thirteen songs that I've been waiting for for over three years! Many of these(The Circus, Miss Kitty, Eliza, Get Up, Mr Bagley, The Game) seem like old standards (which they are if you've been going to see Rick and the Luv perform live), but hearing these new studio versions brings amazing life and new brilliance to them. Others, I've never heard before (or at least don't remember hearing) like Acid Rain, Rose Marie, and Fly. Taken individually these are great songs, taken as a collection (and these studio versions are intended to be listened to as a true album) this is a fantastic body of work. I love it. Thanks Rick and all who performed, produced and mastered this wonderful collection."
